Why You Should Volunteer
In order to build the International Region, we need many helping hands. Volunteering for your professional society can widen your network of experts; give you and your institution greater visibility and recognition; and establish your reputation as a subject matter expert, all of which can enhance your career. Volunteering not only enriches you with new experiences, but it also helps you meet and get to know other colleagues who might recommend you for other job opportunities or help you in other ways in your career development.
